Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tells Newsmax TV that the current scandal facing the Internal Revenue Service proves that the agency cannot be trusted to implement Obamacare.
"I don’t think so," the Kentucky Republican says in an exclusive interview. "I don’t think we ought to have Obamacare. We ought to pull it out root and branch, if we possibly can.
"And, certainly, the IRS part of administering Obamacare, particularly in the wake of this IRS scandal with regard to suppressing the views of Americans who were critical of the IRS, raises further suspicions about their involvement in the administration of Obamacare."
Obamacare has 47 separate provisions that involve the IRS. It is the second-largest agency, after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, charged with implementing the Affordable Care Act.
The IRS has to implement Obamacare’s required purchase of health coverage, checking whether millions of Americans are in compliance.
Speaking to the current scandal embroiling the IRS, McConnell tells Newsmax that Congress would investigate the targeting of conservative groups "for as long as it takes to get the truth."

I do not think the establishment Republicans, including McConnell, have any intention of repealing Obamacare ...i.e., "pull it out root and branch.
Key words, or weasel words, if we possibly can. Jim, these people think they can "fix" it; make it work; make every body happy. They are afraid to duke it out.
Of course they can repeal Obamacare. At the very least, by now the House should have voted to stop paying for it.

Every Conservative in Congress (and Republicans too) should be screaming this angle to the American public!! Do you want the IRS controlling your healthcare?? They will pick and choose who gets what care according to their political affiliation. If they think that’s insane, hammer the point home of them being caught attacking fellow American’s for following the Constitution. This could be the moment in time.
However, I am a skeptic that they will do anything to help save us from this disaster. BTW my husband lost his job again, so I went to put him on my insurance which is a new policy as of last month. It will now cost me close to $700 a month for the 2 of us, and my company pays 75% of my coverage. So please tell me how this is suppose to save us?
A caller on Rush today pointed out that the drone who works at an Obamacare exchange will have all this info at his/her fingertips. Voting history, taxes, loans, donations, etc..

America does not want ACA aka; Obamacare, and never has from the git-go. ACA is a Democrat/Marxist thing only Democrats want, and it isn’t for the benefit of the people, but for the control of the people by the Democrat/Marxists.
