We need to keep the heat up on our side to pursue this. They used the IRS to damage our ability to organize and get out the vote.
People need to go to P-R-I-S-O-N.
Yes, prison terms would keep future bureaucrats from attempting similar actions.
The only way anyone is going to prison is to....
- secure testimony under oath
- develop case/evidence that violations of U.S. laws were committed
- issue indictments
- with consequent trials by jury
The congress is the only hope, because Obama and his cronies will only settle this issue by way of obscure ‘disciplinary’ actions and some firings of underlings. All the MANAGING culprits will be protected and remain in place. And “scandal” will be over. Unless CONGRESS ACTS, as they are responsible to doing under their “oversight” responsibility under the U.S. Constitution.
Now, getting softasssss Boehner to act is an entirely different matter.
Refund to them their indiviual contributions (they can use it in partial payment of their attorney bills) but absolutely NO PENSION FOR THEM. Federal employees would rather have their spouse and children killed before they lost their pensions. OK, that’s a little exageration—but not much.
And believe me, this corruption extends far beyond 4 employees. A REAL INVESTIGATION (i.e., hard drives seized, complete phone records obtained, complete copies of all emails obtained [actual digital copies with all metadata intact] relevant data from various IRS servers obtained.
Orders need to go out before to seize relevant hard drives and servers before the “I’m sorry, we 'sanitized' those hard-drives per our current security practices” excuses have an opportunity to unfold.
Let’s have a well-funded and staffed Special Prosecutor start the digging without further footdragging by Obama administration staffers.
