I've seen it called East Texas AND West Texas now. How about North Central Texas, since that's what the North Central Texas Council of Governments calls it? ;)
And yes, many prayers for those affected.

I know. That was from my West Texas newspaper. Everything is east of us! :)

We can't be East Texas. I wouldn't consider marrying my sister.

Ex-wife in Wise county reports walnut sized hail and power out all night.
To: humblegunner
Yeah, my first ex-wife in Johnson County lived through it too. Bummer.

I think of East Texas as the region of oak and pine forests east of the blackland prairie.
To: LUV W
Please my prayers.... it was horrendous to only hear about it. I can’t imagine the absolute horror of living through it..
We lived in the DFW area for many years, and I remember the frequent warnings every spring, but none ever hit new us. Strangely, here in the Austin area, a tornado warning is very rare.

Texas Highways magazine calls the tornado area Prairies and Lakes.
Prayers for all.

Bad title as far as location. North Central is more like it.
