John Kass is the lone solid conservative writer in Chicago. He also attends many Chicago-area Tea Party events. I spoke with him at the first big rally in Chicago in April, 2009. Santelli, who sparked the movement, was also in attendance. Kass is definitely one of us and fights courageously in a hostile environment. Great family man, too.
