Reading between the lines, Obama is still his god, his cult leader. He is more rueful, more disappointed, more crestfallen than he is outraged and worried for his country.
Folks, all this blather from the media ostensibly criticising Obama is done MORE IN SORROW THAN IN ANGER. These scandals are terrible blows because they're difficult to contain....especially the IRS one. But the media will soon be back on its feet again....and will be in full Obama protective mode in short order.
The leftist media is what it is, it hasn't changed, it won't change....and it will still blindly have his back.

I continue to find parallels in some ways with 'Poppa Joe' Stalin [Dzugashvilli]... During the purges good Marxists in the provinces would write Fearless Leader and say, 'Poppa Joe, you don't know what is going on. The secret police are rounding up good socialists and carrying them off to who knows where... Please help us!'
Naturally in no time at all the concerned family - or friends - of those arrested would also disappear. Who could tell what was going on? How could Poppa Joe be so busy as not to notice... not to know?
Well, at the next big patriotic parade there was Poppa Joe smiling and glad handing the children and their parents. What a wonderful guy! ... what a pity that he just never gets to hear what is really going on! Then he would find time to sell them some pixie dust... [with the help of Pravda, of course.]

Well now these “purists” are outraged that Obama used the IRS to deny them tax exempt status??!! Really??!!! I guess it was okay with these “purists” that this schmuck in the White House appeased and apologized to those who have threatened this country and our Troops for the last 4 years! These “purists” were going to show us Conservatives not to nominate a candidate that isn't “pure”!!!
