He used the Marines like butlers. He seems to want the lifestyle of royalty despite the fact that he loathes the British royalty.
This is a trick by the left to have us focus on something other than real issues, and it worked like a charm. I have heard more about the stupid umbrella “scandel” more than I have heard about the Bengahzi scandel.
The right needs to quit talking about this and shift their focus on the more important issues. I am sure that Sean, Rush, Glenn, Dana, and others will talk about this until we puke.
Don’t let the dems or the LSM tell us what to talk about!

The article is incorrect. CINC can order Marines to hold umbrellas for him, and for the Turkish PM. The Marines cannot be ordered to hold umbrellas for themselves.

What would this idiotic muslim have to say that was so important it had to be said in the rain. Further, having a U. S. Marine hold an umbrella over his head is criminal!
Perhaps the reason his head had to be sheltered was to keep it from turning into a loaf of bread. He walks through the White Hut kitchen every morning to apply a handful of flour (white) on his pointy little head to appear dignified.

I never want to think our military will blindly follow unlawful orders.
Right now I’d be hard pressed to think of any government department or agency other than the military which can be trusted. The military has always been a standout. Even their rare errors prove my statement as they are rare.

So even today, the Marines are granting special privileges to females (doubtful, need an estrogen check).
Where’s the outrage from the left as they are all supposed to be equal?
It would only seem fair, you know how they love that word, to have a 1000 lawn jockeys on the White House front lawn mysteriously appear some morning.
Next thing you know, a Marine will be ordered to pick Obama’s nose because Obama is too busy pointing his finger at the Republicans.

I have faith that most all of our military can tell the difference in being told to hold and umbrella or some other innocuous protocol violation versus being ordered to go house to house confiscating citizens’ property and kill those that resist. If not it would have already been happening on a large scale.
Orders like that will be met with massive nullification actions or outright desertion or rebellion. In this case a professional Marine (a corporal which means he has been in 3-4 years probably and 19-21 years old) opted to follow an order from his stupid non-worthy CiC rather than cause him to throw a temper tantrum on the WH yard and further have reason to castigate our military and apologize for our country.
