Before we jump the gun and assume that Obama and the Rats are solely responsible for the IRS' actions, we should ask "Who hates the Tea Party, et al, more? The Rats or the GOP establishment?"

A case could be made that the GOP establishment had more to gain from blocking the grassroots movement than Obama and the Rats would gain.

It would not surprise me if we found GOP unclean hands somewhere in this IRS mess.

After all, the IRS Commissioner who kicked it all off was a Bush appointee. Surely, the GOP has infiltrated the IRS over the years so that it could use the incompetence of the IRS to its political advantage.

Wasn't the GOP (Nixon) the first to be caught with it's hand in the cookie jar?

We'll learn a lot from how vigorously the GOP congress-critters pursue this IRS mess. It wouldn't surprise me if the IRS scandal goes away much faster than any of us would like.

Right. Why would it surprise anyone on FR that the Rove White House would want to persecute actual conservatives? No doubt IRS stooges would be happy to cooperate, bipartisanship and all, ya know.
