Senator Rubio:
The Amnesty Man, cause he mixes it with love
And makes the word sound good

Rubio excitedly explains that the bill will provide border security like never before. If there is not a solid proposal for securing the border in 6 years, there will be a commission appointed! Rubio makes this proclamation with a straight face. I mean... he is serious.
/facepalm
Yep, regardless of what his future actions are, he has helped advance the government agenda, and that’s it for me.
On top of that, he comes across to me as a putz.
It is not his ad all over the radio, it is a phony conservative group started by Mr. Facebook Zuckerberg himself and they are using recordings of Rubio’s early speeches on this issue.
The key point though is that Rubio seems not to be protesting at all. He will not get my vote in 16.
I didn’t say anything about that ad. I was talking about actual interviews, including his interviews on Rush’s show. (Rush, of course, hates his “immigration reform” but gives Rubio an opportunity to explain the bill because he likes the guy and believes that on the whole, Rubio is a pretty decent conservative. But listening to the interviews, it was easy to picture the skeptical, disappointed frown on Rush’s face.)
We’ve seen this tactic before....propose a bill, it “changes/evolves” and the poor schmuck who proposed it votes against it (meanwhile, it had enough votes to pass so his “no” vote is worthless...kind of like a certain Senator from Nebraska on Obamacare).
You’re too deep in the doo-doo Marco....you can’t wash this off.
Does this mean he’ll vote against cloture or will he do a “Ben Nelson”???
10-4. Rush’s interview is what I used when I unloaded on one of his staffers in the Jacksonville Office.
But the radio and TV ads we are watching and hearng are from Zuckerberg, He is an Obama lover and created Americans for Conservative Direction to purposely muddy the waters and I would not be surprised if Rubio was part of its creation.
What a huge disappointment he has become. Now we see Brit Hume opining that he would not be surprised to see Rubio vote against it. Balderdash I say, balderdash. If it goes down for some reason, as per Senate rules by voting against it, he is entitled to bring it up again for another vote later without having to go through all of the process again.
At least when Charlie Crist was screwing us, he was honest and upfront about it.
