People are naturally drawn to and actively participate in activities which they naturally excel at. Musicians and athletes dedicate much time to those pursuits not out of a sense of obligation, but rather because those activities are what they naturally excel at and thus love. Blacks, on average, have lower IQs and as a result are not as drawn to reading and learning as other races. Go ahead and crucify me for speaking an uncomfortable truth, but it’s a truth nonetheless.
They need to wake up before they can learn.

This unique group has been growing exponentially for the last 50 years.
I have noticed a difference between males and females, though. At work I encounter a significant percentage of black women who have gotten an education, worked hard, and made something of themselves. Sadly, their culture does nothing to encourage its young men to be responsible. Many of these accomplished women are never-married mothers - but not welfare-dependents. The number of educated professional black men has dwindled almost to invisibility.
