He said his client had come illegally to America from Mexico at age 19 with a man who had abused her and forced her into prostitution. You know if every woman or man who had came illegally to America from Mexico at age 19 with a man who had abused them and forced them into prostitution, does not justify the murder of a child.I would venture to say she was high on drugs unleased all her pent up anger all onto the child.

Why is it only twenty years? Do they not consider two-year old infants people in the Old Dominion? Life without parole! Let that woman reside in the general population of the State Prison until she dies!

"Riamh nár dhruid ó sbairn lann!"

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

After the hearing, Keiry’s mother thanked the prosecutors. When asked what she thought about the 20-year sentence, she would only say: “It’s still not enough.”

It it was 2 seconds old she wouldn't have been charged at all.

If the national trend follows here, she will be eligible for parole in 7 and a half years, if she behaves herself. In the mean time she will be able to take college courses and/or learn a trade.

If she opts for the college thing and gets a degree, she will be hired as a professor at a prestigious liberal university.

Plea deal. Saves a trial. I understand it but dont always like it, especially in an obvious felony murder case. (At least in most states)
