I'm biased, but I'll suggest that he is the real thing. Former Marine, Harvard educated (law and divinity), and I could go on. He is not an empty suite. If sit down and talk with him, you will find that he is a very intelligent person. Of course he has to be since he is a conservative.

As mentioned in this thread, he is a brilliant speaker but doesn't have a good machine or political background. He will need a lot of help - but the Cooch machine and Mark's campaign staff should help him.
