This is why that most perfect of all men, mohammad, waited until Aisha was 9.

He didn’t kill her, but she was never able to have children.

Whataguy!

I don’t think he had children by his age mate wife either, or anyone else. Perhaps he was sterile or impotent. Maybe that’s why he put so much energy into his religious revolution. On the subject, since we mostly agree promoting Islam in the US or Europe is a bad idea, I have this question. Why aren’t more people objecting the Grover Norquist’s activities promoting Islam and concerned about the influence of his Palestian wife on him. I worry that his “no new taxes” pledge that so many have signed on to is a Trojan Horse. Designed to weaken our military and our country. With a son in Afghanistan this is especially worrisome. Enter his name and Muslim or Islam in the FR Search space for what others here have had to say.

That is the story, as told hundreds of years later, with no one actually knowing the real facts.

Who knows what the real story is regarding what Mohammed actually did when he took Aisha for his bride. It could be that, the story about Aisha was cleaned up much later, to make Mohammed not seem like such a monster to the Muslims, but, as monstrous as he was, I wouldn't put it beyond him to have actually "violated" Aisha at age six.
