I mentioned the other day that the Justice Department's secretive snooping on AP reporters was not just a personal violation of privacy, but in fact a threat to their ability to do their jobs and a threat to everyone's ability to report on the Obama administration.
Gary Pruitt, AP's CEO confirmed on CBS Face the Nation Sunday that in fact, his organization is already finding government sources are more reluctant to talk to them now because of what happened.

Welcome to the Party, pal.
We’ve been saying since this started (with the media worshiping Obama) that eventually it would be turned on them. I guess they didn’t believe it. Now they need to look at the lives of reporters in Russia to see how they will be treated in the very near future. Any step out of line will result in them disappearing.
