A Washington state man who impregnated a 12 year-old girl forced her to have an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic in order to cover up his sexual assault on the girl.
The Bellingham Herald reports that Luis Gonzalez-Jose, 31, of Everson, Washington must serve a sentence of six years in jail, then leave the United States, after raping the young girl in her home while her mother was in the shower, according to documents filed in Whatcom County Superior Court.
Gonzalez-Jose brought the girl to a Planned Parenthood clinic in August of 2012, where she falsely told staff employed at the clinic that her 14 year-old boyfriend impregnated her. She said she could not give the boy’s name or address.
The documents indicate that, six weeks after the abortion, the girl told a police detective the truth--that Gonzalez-Jose had impregnated her and had insisted that “it would be best for her” not to have the baby.
Gonzalez-Jose pleaded guilty to second-degree rape of a child in April. The girl’s family, according to a Department of Corrections report, refused to cooperate with prosecutors.

That's a a whole other issue entirely. My point was this:
Say he DOESN'T get her pregnant, is six years really enough from an adult that rapes a 12 year old girl? If she was my daughter, I KNOW what the sentence would be. HINT: he might want to ask to stay in jail until I get so old my aim is shaky.
If he is sentenced to six years in general population, I think his fellow inmates may just reduce his sentence, if they know he raped a 12 year old girl. I don’t think they will allow him to serve the full six years and the State will not need to be concerned about the costs to parole this SOB.

I was so stunned that the article made no mention of him being illegal, except that he has to go back to Mexico that this part completely went over my head.
YES he'd get more than 6 years for raping a 12 year old. In some states this is a 20-30 year sentence.

PP is evil, but I'm a bit surprised they're that stupid. Covering up an obvious statutory rape is a crime, too.
