Is this IRS building on Federal Property; it might be? Otherwise, there is _no_ federal police power. This is a well established legal principle. Implying there should have been state law enforcement only unless this ground is federal. Period. USG may be establishing brand new, lawless, operations right in front of y’all.

I _knew_ when _homeland_ security was formed that it would move to this. Read about the same in the history of Nazi Germany. This department needs to be closed; should never have been established.

Have we just stumbled upon the reason why our govt has been buying up ammo?

How long have they known?

Test. I keep getting “this thread is locked” when I try to post. Again, this is a test.

How is it that DHS gets to label their cars as "Police"?

Or is it that DHS supplied the vehicles to local cops?

The way the laws have been worked out over the last couple of centuries a 'federal installation' can be a piece of land with or without a building on it, or a rented facility.

The rules regarding DOD installations are different than those regarding post office so you'd want to check before shooting someone in the lobby, right!

“We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” - Barack Obama

Apparently no one at the time thought to ask him why.

Obama rarely tells the truth, but he did in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 2, 2008:

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

We are facing a man who thinks he's king and who abuses the IRS to pick on those who oppose high taxes, those who support the Constitution as written with enumerated powers and a limited federal government, and especially those who oppose Obama's continuing expansion of executive power.

We are facing someone so self-centered that he would allow Americans to die in Benghazi to avoid bad press that might interfere with his political campaign narrative and then lie about it to avoid the same bad press.

We are facing a man who knows the Constitution well enough to teach Constitutional Law but cares about it so little that he would intimidate the entire Associated Press and those whistle-blowers who might talk to reporters with over-broad searches of their communications, a man who is trampling the right to free exercise of religion and trying to destroy the Second Amendment.

I will not side with those who support Obama if things get ugly - I'll be on the side of the Constitution. I'm glad so many millions more weapons are now in civilian hands. I hope the American people and the American government will never resort to force against each other, but "if you want peace, prepare . . ." Funny how it worked out, but we already had that civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the military . . . it's a well regulated Militia, and it is necessary to the security of a free State in times like these.

Homeland Security profiles conservatives but NOT radical Muslims - one of the reason a child in Boston is dead ...

One of the reasons they’re at this protest and no others...

One of the reason we suspect those 1.6 billion bullets are for us.

Ok, everybody stop getting all excited. This is Federal Protective Service/FPS. Their job is to protect Federal installations. Sending some of them out is SOP for any kind of protest.

I see this once a week at the Federal building near me. Every Friday four or five pro-Palestine protesters (read: Liberals. And geriatric ones at that) show up with a banner. FPS parks right there in their white Tahoe. Sometimes they bring their dog.

IOW, bfd. Let’s tone back the hysteria, please?

My post: “This has to be the worst time politically in the history of our country....”

Your response: “Civil War was worse.”

Politically!? Seems to me that was a war with distinct adversaries with distinctly differing perspectives committed to ideological sides of a conflict.

What we have today is far worse as we don’t have as historically defined such adversaries, but rather political conflict with the enemy on the inside, and in the leadership of the most important functions of the government of our Nation. I firmly believe we are in the worst of times politically.

If the protesters dress up in burkas and hijabs, that would be greeted by showering flowers.

That's not a bad idea... If conservatives came dressed in Burkas and hijabs, Homeland Security would leave. They would never profile a Muslim group...Oh the horror!

Homeland Security's SS troops would start running away they'd be so scared of making a Muslim feel bad.

the question is no longer “Is Hussein Obama anti-American”

The question is “WHY is Obama anti-American?”

The answer is relatively simple when you note Hussein said “he would side with Islam.” You can extend that to say Hussein is siding with Islam, Muslim terrorists that is.

Most Americans will not even consider that Hussein is a traitor working for the destruction of our country. Consider this YOUTUBE video when you decide whether the lies told by the Muslim traitor could be for real. The US Gubermint has been lying to you for decades, Hussein has just taken it to the next level.
