"Yes, there would still be a federal agency charged with collecting those tax monies, but it wouldn't resemble the IRS in any way, shape, or form."

And your new FAIR tax compliance agency would be far larger and more intrusive than our current IRS.

And your new FAIR tax compliance agency would be far larger and more intrusive than our current IRS.

You pay state sales tax every time you make a purchase. Is your state sales tax agency monitoring you and your activities in any way? No, they're not.

The corner gas station where you fill up once a week, collects that tax and forwards it on to the state taxing authority. It's a simple calculation they do, in relation to their gross receipts.

They also send a percentage of what you pay at the pump to an existing federal taxing authority. When's the last time you heard from them? Do you even know the name of that agency?

Your corner gas station serves thousands of people a month, all of them paying state and federal taxes with each purchase. How many people were involved with the actual transfer of funds to the state and the feds? One.

What's the likelihood of any of those taxpayers being audited by the feds? None. Where's the intrusion by Big Brother?
