I grew up in North Michigan when 15-20 minute dispatches wern't uncommon. Almost every house is armed up there too. Nobody wants to be facing the business end of a .30-06 or a .30-30.

Unfortunately she wasn't armed and trained. I'm glad her piece of crap ex is in jail, but unfortunately it is after the fact. I also have to wonder how bad Josephine County is when the cops can't respond to an home invasion in progress. She was on the phone for 10 minutes, and obviously the assault took some time.
