The Boy Scouts will go on, and almost certainly be just fine. Period. All the raging aside from everyone who finds this decision wrong, including myself, doesn't change the fact that the Boy Scouts will soldier on and probably thrive.

That person is in deep denial. The next step will be gay scoutmasters. The arguments they give are “your making garbage up” and “spewing nonsense”. None of what you said is “garbage” or “nonsense”. “Fighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we are going to do with marriage when we get there — because we lie that the institution of marriage is not going to change, and that is a lie. The institution of marriage is going to change, and it should change. And again, I don’t think it should exist.
Anyone facing the truth knows the same methods are being used on the Boy Scouts. RIP.
The fact that there is around 2.5 million kids plus a million adult volunteers - the overwhelming vast majority are not going to quit because of this change. It's just not going to happen. So yeah, the Boy Scouts will go on. Pointing out that the Boy Scouts aren't going to implode because of this decision doesn't mean I support it - which I most certainly don't. They allow open homo's in the US military now too. Many people predicted a mass exodus from the services and a disaster for the US armed forces. It didn't happen. The military goes on, patriotic American's still join. It was a harmful decision for the services and the people in it, but it didn't destroy the system.
