I don't see how Hanoi John can force people who are no longer working in Federal Government positions, say Clinton for one, to attend any Congressional Committee hearings.
All he can do is asked said individuals to show up.

If I am incorrect, please Freepers correct me. I'm open to any required correction on this issue.

The Executive Branch is a separate branch of the Government.

So perhaps protocol says ...first you ask nicely.

And kerry did say he would help the committee....as I recall.
