I bet this guy will not be serving as a D.A. in a year.

Excellent news. What kills me is the tone of the newscasters. How can any reasonable person take this bullet counting psychosis seriously? What serious-minded people want to know is how would chocolate bullets perform under service conditions? Would they splatter, or just vaporize? Or would you have to bulk them up with a peanut center? I mean c’mon, this is the important stuff.

Have the criminals only been loading 7 rounds in their magazines, Gov?

Dean was pulled over earlier this month after police say the light over his license plate was out.

That's probably a felony in New York, unless, of course, you've got the right connections and plenty of cash.

At least in the conservative areas of NY, we should be able to get jury nullification on any prosecution of this nature. It’s a very risky strategy for the accused, but it’s the right thing to do if there is no better alternative. I would never vote to convict someone of the “crime” of loading 9, 10, or 30 rounds into a magazine, and I would argue passionately in favor of nullification once we were in the jury room (until then though, I would have an open mind).

Sarcasm alert!

This is outrageous! Those extra two could mean the difference between a SAFE NY and the end of the civilized world. Everyone knows 7 is the lucky number but 9 is WAY more than 7. Just think of the dozens of children that could be killed by those 2! Anyway, this guy doesn’t even need a weapon. Hasn’t he ever heard of calling the police when he needs help? /s

Sorry, just practicing my “progressive” logic.

There are a few reasonable elected officials in my state. Thank God.

Everyone support this DA’s re-election campaign.

Eff you Cuomo.

I liked the comment section at the news link. It sounds like this DA has the common sense that Cuomo lacks.
