Good for you, but you're in for a world of hurt down the road, unless you resign. There's a reason the term "slippery slope" was coined.

My suggestion to all Scout leaders: Form your own club and work toward a new national organization.

I fear you may be right. And I will look for and support a new organization.

Until then, if all they have to offer me is a world of hurt, I say bring it on. Unlike so many other things in politics, this is one area I have a large amount of direct control. I will not turn tail and run. Evil will not win because ‘this’ good man did nothing.
