One of the reasons Ft. Apache got the new name, Little House on the Prairie, was because it became the only building standing for many blocks. Wish I could find an image of it surrounded by blocks of empty, leveled lots.
Good point. Very few fires to extinguish once all of the buildings are burned and/or bulldozed to the ground.
