In 2012, for example, an organization called Un-Fair Campaign, headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota (90 percent non-Hispanic white, according to the 2010 census), released a video in which Un-Fair members filmed themselves with such slogans as “I Am a White Man—That’s Unfair,” “We’re Lucky to Be White,” and “Society Was Set Up for Us” scrawled in black magic marker onto their milky foreheads, cheeks, and chins. It was hard not to laugh—as many conservatives did—and the University of Minnesota-Duluth, which had originally supported the campaign, backed out, although other institutions, such as the University of Wisconsin-Superior, affirmed their support of the Un-Fair self-loathing campaign. (The video, once freely available on the Internet, has since been withdrawn as “private.”) Then, early this year, Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction (Wisconsin is 83 percent non-Hispanic white), in collaboration with the federal Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program, posted a link to a flyer that encouraged white high-schoolers to wear white wristbands as a “reminder of your privilege.” The flyer suggested that Wisconsin teens “put a note on your mirror or computer screen as a reminder to think about privilege,” “make a daily list of the ways privilege played out,” and conduct an “internal dialogue” asking questions such as “How do I make myself comfortable with privilege?” and “What am I doing today to undo my privilege?”

Who do us poor white folks blame?
I make myself comfortable by recalling my grandparents always feeling blessed. I did not know why. Now, I feel blessed and say a prayer.
We don’t get to blame. Only to feel guilty about ourselves.
Disheartening to see how enrollment is up at these hate rallies. Disgusting to see how whites participate in them.

I remember those awful TV ads Washington Mutual used to run in which white men were consistently portrayed as evil.

We should be proud that we are doing our Christian duty to feed, clothe, house, and attempt to educate so many people who apparently have no mean to fend for themselves. There are few parts of the world where life hasn’t been improved by white men; even the “wild” paradises saw a life expectancy of 30 or so...

This nonsense has led me to absolute apathy towards anyone not “like me”. Not antipathy, but absolute apathy - and it runs deep. I guess it is a natural reaction; this is economic war, and I don’t intend to surrender my children’s future to it. Fortunately they’re in a diverse school where their exposure to cultural differences expose the media silliness for what it is; they see that the world presented for public consumption bears no resemblance to the world they encounter every day. Asians really are good students, pushed by caring parents who come from extremely competitive economic conditions; other groups place no importance at all on education, and before 8th grade the parents themselves can’t help with homework (and almost unanimously vote for Obama).
They continue THIER TACTICS by reinforcing thier brainwashing techniques they used throughout thier early school years. GUILT kills only those who embrace it.
Ignorant losers. They remind of some of my lib sisters who occasionally go on man-hating rants. I have to remind that without all those nasty, white males, they'd still be living in huts somewhere gathering their food from the trees, shrubs, and fields that surrounded their miserable, primitive village. I just get nasty looks when I do that.
Incidentally, two of lib sisters are worth more than a million due to working for one the awful, male-run big American corporations. But like all the losers at the "white privilege" conference, they don't have a clue as to how they got where they are.
