SC homeowner shoots, kills intruder who broke in with shovel, police say

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies say a homeowner shot and killed a man who broke into a home.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says 21-year-old DeShawn Randolph used a shovel to break a back window of a home near Orangeburg around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies say the homeowner grabbed a gun and shot down the hallway. Randolph was struck and died from his wounds.
An autopsy was planned Tuesday.
No charges have been filed against the homeowner.

A shotgun house/shack is one where you can shoot in the front door and it would go out the back door. I don’t think shotgun houses had a hall but this guy did good!
