There is considerable support for losing the winner take all electoral system in Michigan and going by districts won. That would give us a fighting chance.

I’m not sure how to overcome the disastrous 17th amendment for electing senators.

Pennsylvania came close to doing the same thing last legislative session. We had a bill introduced by the Senate Majority leader and a governor pledged to sign it if passed.

Our asshat GOP Chairman then proceeded to strong-arm wavering legislators so it wouldn't get out of committee. His excuse: We can win them all, we don't want to divide electoral votes and Pennsylvania's influence.

What we should have said: so what, it will be a blow-out election if and when we do.

How that jag-off managed to keep his job is beyond comprehension.

The more we separate as states, I would think the more it becomes a bipartisan issue to move things from the federal government to the states, and a repeal of the 17th amendment would be politically possible.

Will Karl Marx Lenin’s open seat be flipped?

Gary Peters is slick and slimy as they come, but oh does he have a record.

Hard to believe Michigan of all places is a model of what needs to be done.

1. Voter ID and reform

2. Right-to-work and no preferential treatment of unions.

3. Split the electorals.
