Yep, I saw a story last week about how McConnell is quietly pulling the strings behind the scenes. He was the one who asked Rubio to be the front guy for the amnesty bill.

The interesting thing is that many of the Pubbies who vote for the amnesty will be voted out of office when the illegals get the vote. Even after Juan McLame fronted the 2007 amnesty, the Mexicans still voted ~80% against him in Arizona in the 2008 presidential election and in the 2010 Senate election.

I cannot believe that these people are that stupid. The best I can figure is that the big money has promised them a cushy position once they lose their seats.
