Saw a stat today that the #of people on SS DISABILITY is completely out of hand, BUT when peoples unemployment is running out ‘they’ steer them towards the SSI which in a sense is probably correct as ANYONE drawing off the dole for 99 or whatever weeks has basically rendered themselves useless when it comes to mingling in a productive society.
In reality, Paul Kersey was correct, he was eliminating what the Police/Courts/Society couldn’t or wouldn’t.
If the citizens that were ‘praising’ him would have helped him by bearing arms, the situation would have come to a successful end in the long run.
Of course, knocking of crime would be like eliminating the IRS....the impact on the economy with the out of work lawyers, accountants etc would be good at first BUT would eventually really bring about the demise by having to put more ‘money’ in the system to support the leeches, eventually they will have to take from the ‘bottom feeders’ which will result in open rebellion.
Wasn’t it Khruschev or some or Russkie that said the way to ‘our heads’ is get us fighting, have complete class warfare and without nearly firing a shot, ‘they’ will walk in and take us over while WE are arguing about the use of the “N” Word or some similar matter of trite.
