Got their backs up have they? Or afraid if in meeting behind closed doors they can't be sure they will be able to report factually.....? The sudden integrity is a bit shaky....

They only seem to care now that they’re the targets. Where have they been the past five years?

Holder just wanted to tell the press that they’re starting to damage the first black prezzie so they should back off. And the lap dogs know it, but in their minds they are the ones with the license to batter race over the heads of opponents - not fellow statists like Holder. It worked for Obama during healthcare debate in private talks with senators, so far not this time.

I would like to see FOX go just to piss him off. Then have the “off the record” broadcast to the world...to piss him off some more

"We want to have a meeting where we inform you of the guidlelines we use to ensure a free and open press...and we want to do it in a secret, off the record meeting." Eric Holder DOJ
You can't make this Bravo Sierra up.
So, the fawning press has their back up when it's them in the cross hairs, eh? Well, I suppose some indignation is better than all of the non-stop slobbery drueling they have been doing the last five years while the country has been run into the ground.
We'll see where it goes.

Their indignation will last a day or so, max. Remember, these press people aren't intelligent, but they are committed...

I would like to see FOX go just to piss him off. Then have the off the record broadcast to the world Absolutely. Send Catherine Herridge in there.
And when questioned later about reporting "off-the-record" comments, she can simply say, "I don't remember that. I wasn't personally involved in that. Last year I recused myself from off-the-record requirements.
"What are you going to do, charge me with espionage?"

"If it is not on the record, AP will not attend and instead will offer our views on how the regulations should be updated in an open letter," said Erin Madigan White, the AP's media relations manager. That's the way it should be done in the first place. Any negotiations done with the Obastard regime need to be on paper, and even then they'll ignore what is written down and deny they ever wrote or signed it.
Some months ago, Boehner took this attitude after being burned numerous times by the regime's lies, and it's one of the few things he's done I agree with. "On paper or it wasn't said" is the motto for dealing with Obastard the Liar.

The members of the press who met privately with Carney took some well-deserved heat for it, so they’re naturally gun-shy about meeting with Withholder.

Only on Obamaland would someone in government think it proper to have secret meetings “off the record” with a supposedly “free” press.
This is communist crap.
