No worries.
There are plenty of dead people to get signature from.

How prevalent are these recalls and are they part of a larger mechanism built into election law across the country? I don’t recall ever seeing a recall attempt here in Florida in my 30+ years, and I’m wondering if this process is part of a western-US mentality?

They could end up collecting 13 signatures and it would still be technically a “recall bid”.
Way to write those misleading headlines!

No doubt some former ACORN crooks are available to write in Mickey Mouse and Superman on the petition.

A group (Illegal alien advocates) trying to oust the polarizing sheriff of metropolitan Phoenix faces a Thursday deadline for handing in voter signatures in an uphill battle to force a recall election.

Initiative, referendum and recall were created by the Progressive Movement in its early years after the Civil War. They were intended to wrest power away from corrupt party organizations and hand it back to the people. Those states who entered the Union during this period tend to have those 3 features as part of their state constitutions.

Arpaio must be getting close to something again... for them to be making this effort against him
His ‘posse’ led by Joe Zullo is talking about actually FILING CHARGES in the birth certificate forgery case

"We can't allow the sheriff to stay in office four more years," said recall campaign manager Lilia Alvarez. And there it is. A group of Hispanic people who are pissed because Sheriff Joe is shining a light on the cockroaches.
And what is the name of this organization who filed suit?
The article only identifies them as "the plaintiffs" or "the recall group". Is it the same 5 Hispanic drivers who filed the last lawsuit after they said they had been stopped by deputies because of their ethnicity?

In a state with the population od 6.5 million they cannot find 335,000 with like mind! I feel the Judge that started all this with his profiling decision, should be on his way out of the state!
Go Sheriff Joe!

Five weeks ago, the group said it had collected 200,000 signatures. And how many were valid?
RATs cheat, that we know. So if they have 200,000 signatures many if not most are probably bogus.

Are these signatures of verifiable US citizens? Perhaps they need True The Vote to verify.

There are probably more gruntled voters than disgruntled ones.

6.5 million they cannot find 335,000 with like mind! Arpaio's lawyers should go other the petition papers with a fine tooth comb. Might be a high percentage of unregistered voters on there, given the makeup of the folks that want him out.

They destroy. Palin, Bachmann, DeLay just to name a few; as they commit crimes against the constitution and the people with impunity. What is the answer, how do we stop these DemoKKKrats? The GOP is so weak and toothless.
