Morons. They’ve got 18 months and don’t even know who will be the eventual GOP nominee for the district.

Bachmann’s district is a ring of outer suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Lots of large corporation execs, what’s left of affluent blue collar union stooges, school teachers and other government employees. None of those groups are particularly conservative or religious, especially in Minnesota.

I happened to be the poster of #8. That post was not trashing Bachmann. That was ASKING WHY SHE DID NOT WIN HANDILY if as you say, her district is conservative.
If any, it should be taken as trashing the voters of her district, not her personally.
As a resident in Bachmann’s district, I must disagree with your portrayal. Most people I know work for private employers or are self-employed. A big chunk of the 6th CD is composed of the far ex-urbs, not inner ring suburbs. Carver County is the most conservative county in the state. There aren’t a lot lefties out this way and that’s why I moved here from Minneapolis. The difference is like night and day.
Well - George Bush has been out of office for over 5 years and Obama is still running against him.
