Armed union goon city workers sit in their police cars and collect great salaries, gold plated benefits and insane pensions. In a bankrupt city.
And they expect the citizens to stop crime with T-shirts and whistles.
Oh and another thing, JOBS!
Keep people busy and productive, and crime will plummet.

My sister loves the private security her neighborhood has. They don’t waste time harassing people about stupid crap. They keep an eye on vacant properties and even check in on the elderly. They are armed and can shoot in self defense or defense of others.
Unarmed volunteers are given radios and matching T-shirts ...

So since fdr the country has slid into a wreck.

The problem is that by design, the educational system created people this stupid to lead the rest of us who aren’t.
There are jobs moving into Detroit due to policies installed at the state level. The city is obviously still a problem but the emergency manager says he believes the city tax structure to be unconstitutional and will have to be brought into line with the state.
Things must be getting better. After abandoning Detroit years ago, Louis Farrakhan has returned to solicit donations.

What is even more scary is the description under the Thugless Life section:
Private companies under the guise of ‘community groups’ want to assess levies on homeowners to pay for more patrols.
Sounds like something the UN would try: We want to assess a levy against you — but it’s for your own good.
Private companies should NEVER have authority to assess a levy [PC speak for tax] on private homes/people.
Justified homicide (defensive) numbers 2200% in above the national average in 2011. Police call it a problem I call it a free market remedy.
