Remember the polygamy scandal in that walled compound in, I believe it was Arizona? Young boys were driven out of the compound so that the old leachers could have all the young women to themselves. The cult leader finally went to jail. This compound was self supporting, I think they were farming and making food products. Since this was basically slave labor, they could have passed their labor cost savings onto the purchasers, which makes me wonder if those businesses that purchased products from them knew that there was slave labor going on and I wonder if the purchasers were also Mormon?

The young boys are called ‘The Lost Boys’ but they weren’t really self supporting, over 90% of the women and children were on welfare, medcaid, WIC, etc. The polygamous groups really promote welfare fraud as part of their theology. They call it “Bleeding the beast”.
