And here I thought it might be Shelby Co. Ala.
Shelby county is Memphis for those not from TN.

Me too. That’s the great thing about stories like this. Just the headline is all you need. Some criminal mastermind thinks he’s got an easy mark and BAM!! lights out, one dead criminal mastermind.
Anyone know the difference between a home invasion suspect
and a burglar? Not a joke, just asking.
The alleged burglar, who previously worked with the homeowner, broke into the house and the owner shot him, authorities said. He was flown to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis in critical condition.
Deputies identified the man as 20-year-old Rashawn Calvin. Calvin had worked with the homeowner at a moon bounce company some time before the home invasion.
No charges against Calvin have been filed yet, deputies said. The investigation is ongoing.
I’ll take a shot at it, no pun intended.
Burglary does not involve confrontation with a property owner or employee, being done at an empty property.
Robbery is done by way of home invasion with the owner present. In this case, we have the owner present, but since the perp never got to the robbery part, he can only be accused of home invasion.
One can invade a home with no intent to rob or burgle, but rather an intent to commit some other crime which I’ll leave to your imagination.
the community thanks you for one less violent piece of trash taken out.
“moon bounce company”
Really?
Truly, this is what the article said.
Maybe he was an evil clown in disguise.
