I’m a non-”Anglo-Saxon” and non-Protestant, but I can appreciate the contributions the WASPs gave us; this country wouldn’t have been founded by any other group (see former non-WASP European colonies to the south of us for examples). People of faith (regardless of which faith) are increasingly estranged from those who have lost it.

We are in a post-modern, post-religion, post-faith, post, just about everything except conspicuous consumption. For better or worse, religion was always the fallback mechanism for life. It serves as a base for morality. The regimes who murdered the most amount of people in the world were all secular-socialist, not that religion didn't kill in the name of G-d but we have lost our moral compass. When everything is relative, nothing has greater or lesser value. Only one religious force is growing...Islam. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.
