It is every citizen’s right to freely assemble with a group of like minded people, but those people shouldn’t be able to use government to oppress others.

Since we can’t say a person can’t work in a department of government because it has the power to oppress people,
the simple conclusion is that that department cannot exist.

I do agree that is every citizen’s right. However, that doesn’t mean they are the best fit for certain government jobs (i.e. teachers, IRS employees, etc.)

Government workers are “public servants” and should be held to the highest standards.

My husband is a government employee. During the hiring process, he was required to furnish user names of any social networking sites to which he belonged.

I don’t have a problem with it. How else do you make the government accountable?
