Do not forget that southern Jordan is a US Economic Zone with the same status of Guam. We own it. It is our primary landing pad for the Middle East and critical to the US war effort. Without it, we would have not been able to fuel and supply the Iraq war. We have built whole cities and super freeways down there.
This drill will be conducted in two weeks. The same time as the Iranian election which might well have protests put down very violently as in 2009.
