I have seen how the US follows the UK in many ways.

I noticed this in particular when the UK government decided not to call Muslim terrorists, “Muslim terrorists.”

I think the transformation came when we made God and Christ unacceptable concepts in the very institutions that made us great in the first place, viz. schools, government and the home. The change was very subtle. I think we saw it first in the entertainment media. Denigrating God and Christianity, and promoting humanism as an alternative belief system. The individual human became, according to music and movies, capable of deciding for himself, values and morals. Remember the 60s phrase, "If it feels good, do it?"

Humanism has failed every society that ever embraced it, throughout history. But for some reason American liberals think that we'll be the exception. They're wrong.
