As a high school baseball coach, I’ve had a lot of conversations on the bus as several of the kids coaxed me to talk. They’d sometimes ask obviously silly questions, yet they suck-up information like a sponge. And I’d like to think that in years to come a few of them in evaluating information will remember those long-ago conversations on the bus with Coach Whatshisname.

That I might have made that kind of difference.... Wow!

Itr is absolutely true that you might say one sentence that sticks with a kid for the rest of his life.

I had teachers that did that for me. The Holy Spirit determines which sentences will "stick," but you have to open your mouth!
