The snakehead is considered invasive and as such any caught in U.S. waters are to be killed as well.
They originally arrived here from SE Asia as imports for the food wishes of immigrants. Someone decided to stock them somewhere and they spread.
Down by the dam. I don't know how deep it is there though. At the north end of the lake, we have a small (2-3ft wide by 2-3 inches deep) stream. We'll need a tropical storm or two to park over the Kerrville area before the lake fills again.
