They weren’t ‘after blood’.
They were chasing a moving, hysterical target, playing with each other half the time.
If she’d have stood still, they’d have gotten bored and gone away.
A dog’s nature is to chase things that run.
That’s why rabbits have learned to hunker down.
My former pack of 5 bloodthirsty rabbit hounds, now down to two, are constantly befuddled by the wise old bunny mama who just freezes, even as they sniff and poke her with their noses.
She just won’t run.
They lose interest and leave her alone.
If they indeed did bite her, where are the photos of the horrible damage?
You honestly believe we wouldn’t be seeing them everywhere?
