They can forget NC. My wife of 42 years is a Tarheel and we will be going there in about 2 weeks to see relatives.

“That which has been seen cannot be unseen.” NC gets it.

We aim to stop ‘em.

If our General Assembly can mute the weekly NAACP protests with laws that make a real difference to EVERYONE, we might have a chance....

Right now, they are losing the message and ticking people off, even conservatives with the idea of taxes taxes taxes for everything. But oh...we will cut the income tax a percent or 2....
Thats not going to keep them in power long....

They are setting themselves up for a backlash, iow.

NC tax laws are designed for a manufacturing economy that does not exist any longer. NC's tax base needs to be broadened and they are trying to that with a broader sales tax base and lowering corporate and individual taxes.

Is it perfect? No. But the shape of this state is clearly the work of the Democrats and they deserve the blame. They have controlled this state since reconstruction.

The fact that the fat a$$ Rev. Barber and his cronies are protesting is a good sign that the Legislature is doing something right.

They can forget NC

I don't know about that. We have the liberal cesspool of the Triangle.(Think North Eastern Carpetbaggers) Then we have the "my daddy voted Dem and his daddy voted Dem" crowd.

Virginia is now a blue state, forever, I am afraid. NC is next.

Nope, blowback in NC is not going away.

ComDems are exposed.

They say the same thing about turning Texas “blue” but that will not happen either.

I understand that and I am all for ALL paying their “fair share” where everyone pays something. Manufacturing IS dead in NC for the most part.[Jaycees and rahrah types, please save your comments...]

But I had an argument this morning with a reliably conservative friend who objected to the “over 140 new taxes” and how it would cost businesses so much more...all the usual arguments against taxes.

They, McCrory, Phil Berger, SOMEONE has to get ahold of the message NOW because Barber showing up weekly to be arrested isn’t helping them a bit...in fact, the protests are growing. Up to 1000 last Monday from the 50 or so when they started.

Our dumblecrats are patient. They will milk this into a campign and we DO have to stop them. But it takes someone who will actually speak out, not pretend its not happening and it doesn’t need to be adressed. I’m all for whats being done in this state at long last and no, its not perfect. But I also see what can happen when the dumbles with the aid of the state press have complete control of the news.
