Tha’s one problem-people who are stupid enough to surrender their rights won’t leave it at that, they insist that the rest of us must surrender our rights along with them. A microcosm of the whole Left-no one shall escape the misery they want to inflict, everyone shall be equally miserable.

Right!

Big difference between “giving” and having something “taken against your will”

Guess Graham would also apply that logic to rape.

What if one of your phone pals later turn out to be a "right-wing domestic terrorist" by some definition or some other lawbreaker to some law that hasn't even been written yet.
Guilt by association is a dangerous path.
What you think is harmless today can come haunt you years later.
I don't like walking on eggshells and have to be concerned about everything I say and who I talk with.

Exactly. Lindsay Graham is welcome to send his personal phone records to the FBI/NSA/IRS, but he has no authority to allow them access to my records.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

There is no ambiguity there. They are not entitled to conduct a fishing expedition, whether it was authorized by Bush or by Obama. This is unconstitutional and must stop.

LINDSEY GRAHAM: I DON’T MIND VERIZON GIVING MY PHONE RECORDS TO THE NSA BECAUSE I’M NOT ‘TALKING TO TERRORISTS’

So you wouldn't mind a full body cavity search either since you're not hiding anything up there? I mourn for my country.

Sure - on a theoretical level I don't mind anyone looking at my phone records (if someone wants to waste their time - knock yourself out), but as a Verizon shareholder:
I do mind that you are eroding my share's value as the Company has to redirect resources and money on this crap.
And as a taxpayer I do mind that my Government is engaged in extra-Constitutional activities and forcing me to pay for it.

Naturally the ruling regime will not use this information when running a campaign.

Although it may explain why the dems are acting line the 2014 elections are irrelevant.

Idiot...that's not the point. The government has NO business listening to the conversations of millions of ordinary Americans just in case someone might say something suspicious. This smacks of something the East German Stasi might be doing. Sen. Graham should carefully read Orwell's 1984.

And Graham would not have had a problem with the Stamp Act, Townshend Acts or the Intolerable Acts either.

You can do so much better South Carolina. John C. Calhoun weeps!

Lindsey Graham has no use for the 4th Amendment because he’s never done anything wrong.

Hey, all you incredibly dumb and uninformed Americans, I’m Lindsey Graham. I’m a really, really, REALLY smart lawyer from South Carolina. Almost as smart as John Edwards and Elena Kagan.

Because I am from South Carolina, some of you uninformed BIGOTS might call me a “cracker.”

Actually, that suits me just fine because that would make me a Graham Cracker. So if you don’t like my position (most often bent over Obama’s or Harry Reid’s desk) on globull warming, immigration, the Kagan nomination or those OTHER unimportant issues (I slept through those classes on factual evidence in law school) – because I AM a Graham Cracker -- y'all can

BITE ME!
