I sent a note to the Admin Moderator on this when I saw the despicable post requesting that the author be shown the door. Normally, I would have perhaps at least made an attempt to engage the miscreant in some form of corrective dialog.

Not on D-Day! When I think of the ultimate sacrifices made by so many, the remark defending our enemies at Gitmo was just too much -- even for me, a rather easy-going individual. I saw no reason why such an individual should tarnish this day with such a vile message.
