An independent audio expert believes that George Zimmerman is most likely the harrowing voice screaming for help in the crucial 911 call made seconds before Trayvon Martin was shot dead.

As attorney's convene back in court in Florida today to continue a hearing to determine whether jurors will even listen to the phone call - this new revelation significantly bolsters Zimmerman's claim of self-defense.

ABC News exclusively obtained a sample of the distressing emergency call - which could prove pivotal once the trial of 29-year-old Zimmerman begins - and sent it to Kent Gibson of Forensic Audio.

In his expert opinion, a comparison of Martin's voice, Zimmerman's voice and the screaming on the 911 call indicate that the voice is 'more likely to be Zimmerman than Martin by a significant margin.'

ABC News explained they were able to finally make their startling but qualified judgement on the identity of the voice after they exclusively obtained a recording of Trayvon Martin's voice.

To ID any audio, forensic experts need samples of both Zimmerman and Martin's voice - and ABC provided their expert with a cellphone recording of Martin laughing and talking about two men arguing over a bike.....

You need the witness(es) that said Tray was on top doing the bashing. Tray wasn't in pain...he sure didn't want witnesses. He wouldn't have been calling for help. It makes no sense at all. Tray was trying to shut George up...permanently.

IMO it’s Zimmerman’s voice for at least two reasons: There is a lot of howling and pleading preceding the screams. It’s clear from the wounds suffered by Zimmerman that he was the one being injured during the altercation/beating. Martin’s only injury being the fatal gunshot, it follows that the screams, closely followed by the gunshot, were coming from Zimmerman.There were no screams after the gunshot because Martin could not scream.

Martin would have gotten away with it until he posted to many brags on Twitter, when he would have been caught. Its finger in the wind tells it that acquittal is coming and so are expensive lawsuits.

After the hearing yesterday, with those “expert” witnesses testimony...which is embarassing for every Seminole County resident....would not be surprised ABCs lawyers had a very stern meeting with the top brass and board members of Disney Co. (ABC parent)

I have to disagree with you. St. Skittles was an exhibitionist. He not only wanted witnesses he wanted documentation that he was beating this cracker. We have all seen the pictures of the gold teeth and the bling. There are also the pictures of him holding the wad of cash and the videos of him "refereeing" the fight between the two other MMA wannabes.

I am not saying that it was his voice on the tape I am convinced it was Zimmerman's, but if there was anyway Tray! Tray! (imagine a loud screechy voice) could have gotten someone to hold his skittles and Arizona tea and Skittles and another to film him giving the beating he would do it in a heart beat.

It was just dumb luck that he picked the wrong cracker to try and open a can of whup @$$ on.

You're right. I watched Matt Gutless and ABC news yesterday morning and though they said they had this voice snippet they said nothing about this expert and his conclusions.

It wouldn't surprise me if they had tape of this expert going both ways.

The third reason would be that a videotape of GZ’s interrogation shows him telling the Sanford PD that he was screaming for help. Articles describing this 911 call never mention that.
