Sounds like it might be a Douglas Hagmann/Ulsterman article -- he's always writing about "interviews with insiders" who have the real dirt on what's really going on in the circles of power -- and it's always much dirtier than one would think.

Unfortunately, the Hagmann articles I'm thinking of are technically fiction and are not welcome here at FR.

I check Ulsterman on a rare occassion when things are flying as they are now....reading backward proves to be interesting as he does get it right along the way regardless if this may be a “story” ....
