Kerry and Zawahri are on the same team. Thats what the Benghazi arms sales were all about. The murder of the US Ambassador by the State Dept/White house was just a little hiccup in the expanding war plan for taking over Syria by AQ. That way they can directly hit and wipe out Israel.
