(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama says Democrats "don't want to tax all businesses out of business."
"I know that there are a few Republicans here in the audience," Obama said Friday at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign in Palo Alto, Ca. "If you talk to us, it turns out we're pretty common-sense folks.
"We don't think government can do everything," he said. "We don't think that top-down solutions are the right way to go. We believe in the free market. We believe in a light touch when it comes to regulations."

It’s so much easier to control a few giant corps through the government than it is to control the myriad small businesses that make up the bulk of employers in the USA.

I have an acquaintence that billed himself out as an IT contractor for $100 an hour. He had two others that he billed out at the same rate and paid them $70 an hour. He had a state business license and paid all stte fees and business taxes.
He had not filed a federal income tax return in over ten years and this was in Washington state, where there is no state income tax.
I’ve not seen him in about 12 years. I don’t know if he’s still “free”, but I know he was a Larkin Rose advocate. I still have the VHS tape he gave me which outlines why we don’t have to pay fed income tax.
But as an employee with withholding, it’s hard for me to do that. It’s easy for the self employed.

That said, the GOP is running out of room.
We either make things in America, or we export them.
We have exported so many US businesses, now our technological leadership in the globe is threatened.
The GOP needs to stop exporting businesses. We need to bring back US businesses, and compete.
Sure there are problems the dems have introduced, but sending our businesses to China makes an even bigger problem.
Bring back US jobs.
