I saw the same thing.
He’s with the establishment, ie: McCain, Graham on this one.
This will separate the freedom lovers from the one world government types.

I used to support Mr. Bolton.
But the Nuremberg Defense of Obama Domestic Spying will not attract many non fascists in the long run, and seems to have exposed the fascists under the fig leaves of Republican politics.
‘Just Following Orders’ did not work for the other Nazis as a defense and even the wimpy Media is squeaking about the abuse.
The issue is not about a whistleblower, but illegal, amoral, unconstitutional spying, peeking and prying in order to advance a domestic, partisan political agenda.

Exactly. There are only two sides in this: those who defend and enable the surveillance blackmail state apparatus, and those who demand it be dismantled.

Every single person in the congress knows about this and has not said a thing. They have signed off on it. This is why they are so unresponsive. Now it is us against them. And they by the very deffinition of the jobs that they accepted, are the ones who are treasonist. They will not see it. Do not look to them for satisfaction. They have already made their decisions to ignore the constitution, to ignore the American citizenry. The suffering that moving all this money in to plans like this, and not protecting our borders, has not been felt by Washington. They know it not. They consider it extreme; but it is so with most of America now.
