A TEA Party sponsored “Impeach Obama” demonstration on a major Southern California freeway overpass caused traffic to backup at least ten miles, as the organizer apologized for “any small inconvenience” drivers may have dealt with, as reported by the San Diego-based local news portal the Carlsbad Patch on June 9, 2013.
Flying a number of American flag as well as the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party-adopted Gadsen flag, protesters flashed to motorists on the Interstate 5 southbound lanes in Carlsbad, California placards stating “Remember Benghazi,” “Obama Lies” and “Amnesty Hell No!”
Organizers estimated between 25,000 and 30,000 vehicles would drive under the Tamarack Rd. overpass where the protesters set up shop.
By 12:15, the notoriously slow California freeway traffic had become a slow flowing parking lot from the protest site all the way back to the main gate of the sprawling Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base, ten miles distant.

But it is also inconvenient to the entire nation to have a lawless president in office who murders American citizens without judicial process; wages illegal war without congressional approval required by the Constitution, including a terroristic drone war, which has killed about 5,000 people including many children and innocent bystanders in allied countries; dictates law by executive order and generally trashes the Constitution.
It is not even clear that he is eligible for the office he holds.

The southbound I-5 going into San Diego County is bumper to bumper every Saturday and Sunday in the summer. Also the San Diego County Del Mar Fair opened last weekend causing even more traffic on the I-5. The Tea Party did not cause the traffic jam. However I am pleased that tens of thousands of people saw the Tea Party signs.

There is nobody who wants to get rid of Obama more than I but I am sorry to say that that part of the freeway always gets backed up big time every Saturday and Sunday due to the comings and goings of LA weekends crowd.
There is very heavy traffic on that road. The idea this was the only reason the traffic was backed up is rather humorous.
So what do they do? They try to slander the Conservative protesters. LOL
Typical Democrap Journalistic inability to cope with alternative ideology.
Obama is among the least of California’s problems.

It should probably read, “Waterboard Obama’s Teleprompter, to Find Out What It Knows.”
Yes, that’s normal traffic, certainly not bunched up at a highway impairment.
