A politician can pretend TEA Party attitudes and then also throw in “immigration reform” (instead of enforcement). If he gets his way on open borders, he’ll never face serious challenge for not voting for actual TEA Party issues.
That’s probably true, depending on which District you represent. I’m sure Rubio has his future all planned out.
